The Plum was founded on the same principle as most salons — beauty. The gift of giving someone beauty brings us endless joy. But I want to be a part of more than the outside. To do that, I have created a way to encourage everyone to reach far within and live fuller lives, thereby becoming more beautiful from the inside. The outside just becomes the fun part! Every month, I have created a different adventure or goal. So, every month, I take a plunge into something new and unknown. On the plumboard, you will find pictures, thoughts and learnings all of which are hanging in the salon. And now, here on the site. It has been an exciting year, and now it's time for you to be a part of that!

Beginning in the second year of the Plum, it's your turn to take a spot on the board. I will choose one client each month who doing something extraordinary for them self. Our first feature is a woman client who has set a goal of running the San Francisco Marathon. She began training in spring with the intent of accomplishment, and she’s amazed and feeling great! You go girl.
